Thursday, July 21, 2011. Final Days of the Internship. There has been so much happening in these last final weeks that it has been difficult to keep up with the blogging. All of the new materials in the recreation center have been inventoried and put in their places. There are lights and electricity, books, games, DVDs, karaoke, and coloring books. I used to make country wines when I was a boy, but it took another 30 years before I thought making cider would be a good way to combine a number of my hobbies. For my first attempt at cider making, I collected apples from our own crab apple trees and added a few others from local sources. I was now hooked!
